Cardiff, November 2018

Croeso i Gaerdydd! – Welcome to Cardiff! Isn’t it wonderful to spend Christmas at home with friends and family? We think so, so that’s why, for our 11th break, and the second year running, The VIP Lounge is doing just that, returning home to where it all began on the 1 August 2013, Cardiff. With its origins in Roman times, Cardiff has had a long and vibrant history. After being recognised as a city in 1905, and becoming the capital of Wales in 1955, there is much to find out about the city that is currently the 10th most popular city for internationals to visit. From its Castle to its nightlife, from the docks and their history in the development of Cardiff to the arts and crafts that make up its past, there is just about something for everyone. So that’s why, from November 26, we will be spending 4 nights at the 4 star Copthorne Hotel, Culverhouse Cross complete with dinner, bed and breakfast. With a trip to the Museum of Welsh Life where you can explore, through touch, the buildings crafts and culture of Welsh history from as early as the reign of King Henry viii; a visit to Cardiff Central Fire Station where the Fire Service will talk to you about fire safety; a Christmas lunch and awards ceremony for our ten pin bowlers who took part in our first bowling league, at the family-friendly Sand Martin pub in Leckwith; and much more, there is bound to be something for everyone. So, why not join us? Prices start from £250 based on 2 people sharing a twin or double room. For more information, please contact Lianne McKeon at
